Health Care, Health Care, Health Care; baby boomers, baby boomers, baby boomers.

Health care should remain healthy for a while.

Great entry point. Stable company with a stable dividend. Will hold this one for a long time.

Death and taxes may be inevitable, but doctors and CPA’s can delay those inevitabilities. HCP is a health care facility REIT, with a long history, a consistently increasing dividend (currently at an accidental rate of almost 8%!), and a depressed share price. Throw your saddle over this horse and ride out the recession in style.

Health Care Reit, Baby Boomers!

One of my long term picks. Good dividend play. Health Care play for the future.

They own medical buildings and pay a good dividendWe need doctors and hospitals, they need space.

I have owned this stock on and off for several years. Solid performer with a good dividend. Health Care sector will never be totally outsourced. Even if the doctor is operating on you via satelite from India, you will still need an operating room in the US.

Health care and aging baby-boomers go together.

The sell off in the REIT sector has provided a tasty entry point for the healthcare property segment. This portion of the REIT market is about as detached from the economy as they come, and demographics favor it for years to come. Going bullish on all the best participants.

I added both VTR and HCP to my portfolio earlier in the year. Both companies create enormous value for shareholders. The "baby boomer factor" makes ownership in these companies a wise move which I think will be highly evident during the next couple decades.

Health care is an every growing industry and with the baby boomers gettng older every year the demand for health care property will continue to grow. People are on waiting lists to get into nursing homes now and the demand will just go up from here.
Recs
HCP is a well managed REIT in a relatively economy unaffected area. It rents to health provider operators such as hospitals, nurse care, etc. It is one of tha largest in this field with well managed growth over the last 20 years. Its 5% dividend is reasonable secure and very good return of its own.
