Despite a dubious history for Ampligen, and some sloppy business moves, the drug will be approved. Once that happens, the likelihood of approval for a second orphan drug increases dramatically.

According to several different reports, HEB has been trying to get FDA approval for their drug, Ampligen, for well over a decade for all different types of uses... but has failed to do so. I'm not buying into the hype that the FDA will suddenly approve it now for chronic fatigue syndrome.
