Obamacare is reaking havoc in the Prosthetic/Orthotic business with the pre-payment audits mandated by CMS which will no doubt affect cash flow and and future sales will be stunted as a result of whats coming down from Medicare Part B billings

The stock has a great management team and delivers products which are going to be high in demand in the near future. HGR stands to benefit directly from an aging population and an increase in Medicare/Medicaid spending thanks to their focus on products which assist patients in a period of rehabilitation.

Dare I say I feel "Patriotic" buying stock in a company founded in 1861 by the first amputee of The Civil War? and now during years of war in Iraq/Afganistan, death tolls are lower than WWI and WWII, however loss-of-limb occurs far more often than loss-of-life. Hanger is a leader in prothetic care. and with the advent of WalkAide by Innovative Neurotronics, can assist millions of people with foot-drop due to stroke, multiple sclerosis, or head trauma.
