Dot Hill Corp has had a nice run from it's $0.42 low back in February. While it did take a revenue hit and has had a net loss for the last 3 years plus, it has virtually no debt and remains net neutral on cash flow. As such, expecting it to climb in price past the $2.30 that I upthumbed it might be a stretch. Fundamentally, however, it holds a strong cash postion and appears to fill a niche in network storage and data management. It's hard to justify an upthumb, but volume is up and technicals seem to give it another 10-15% upside minimum. It's a small cap stock that might garner even more attention as consolidation continues.

Just read the 10k. Alot of uncertanty with this company. Speculative pick, if managment gets its act togather i see this company doubling by end 2008. Will reexamine pick after they report first qtr earnings this week.

Continuing losses of OCF, negative net income since Q4 '06...these guys can't survive on their own for long.

Even then, they'll get bought out for pennies on the dollar.

Sure, they're not in debt... but they're losing money now, they're expected to lose money for the forseeable future. Furthermore, their revenues are shrinking. Also, they're up against some major competition in the data storage market.

They can't even rely on a short squeeze to drive the price up, since there isn't a huge short interest in the stock.
