I will hold onto Hecla Mining for a few months more to see if cash flow improves as some expect.

Precious Metals are all going to POP to the upside now that all the evil Bullion Banks, ESPECIALLY JPM, HSBC, and Scotia (3 of the total 6) are done manipulating the paper price, providing a phenomenal contrarian play for entry into the Miners (which re down between 75-90%!!!) that have good B/S and Cash, along with plentiful mines that afford them access to Au and Ag for very good prices. The Miners who pay around $1150-$1200/oz are the ones who will benefit the MOST at first, as their margins have been squeezed to NOTHING. Hecla is the largest Primary Silver Miner in the USA with AVG $/Oz=$7.02! They have More Cash than Debt and are sitting on at minimum, 336,000 OZ of Product and the stock trades for just $3!!!

Leading silver miner discounted due to mine closures, large recent acquisition and of course general PM manipulation - decent dividend - will be back from these low low prices

The lucky strike mine will kick silver production into high gear soon being that they just opened it back up. Recently HL allowed work crews to improve many aspects of the mine's operations. Besides cleaning and improving the efficiency of the main Silver Shaft, the company upgraded mining methods; conducted supplementary training; hired additional safety experts, mine management and engineering staff; and purchased $2.3 million in new equipment, including mechanized rock bolters, which will be used to implement new ground control measures. Hecla has spent a total of $29.8 million on the rehabilitation of the Silver Shaft and an additional $26.2 million on other Lucky Friday capital projects unrelated to the shaft renovation.

Silver will go up with rising inflation and currency devaluation and HL is a great, politically secure (all mines = in the U.S. of A) silver miner.

I live in Spokane and have watched silver miners since the early 60,s. Bought quarters when they changed in 1964 with each paycheck and had friends that bought and sold on the Spokane Exchange.

My thoughts are that with good management this company will do great. I also hold some CDE and SVM.

I wrote my congressman when SWC in Montana was about to be sold to Russia with no results. We have little effect on the national level.

I bought one ounce of gold dust in Baker, Oregon in 1965 when I was at the local bank and saw that they still used dust for business with local miners.

That $40 dollar investment took a long time to become a great investment. The trend is to inflation and we are going to inflate. My only question is the world going to inflate at the same rate and hold us back until we are all even?

My bet is that we will pull out and that those with gold, silver, real estate, and investments in other countries will do best.

This stock beats on top and bottom line without its top performing mine. Buy now, hold and wait til 2013 when Lucky Friday Mine comes back into production.

Minerals will be a continuing factor in economic growth in the coming years. Slow buyt steady growth for the next 3-4 years followed by the next "boom" times when idiots will re-enter the market, just in time for the next pull-back....
