Recs
Long term improvements in fundamentals of Japanese economy will accelerate under new administration. Plus Honda makes awesome cars.

The US is the biggest market for Honda. With that market growing and the Yen going down due to the recently-introduced weak-yen policies, Honda stands to gain in the US market.
Recs
They're going downhill, and not really keeping up with the marketplace. Their prices are too high, they don't give enough special offers, and their product is slipping. Why, with these gas prices, would someone buy an Acura that takes premium fuel? They have not innovated in the marketplace, and their new CR-V looks terrible (and seems to be a downgrade from the previous one). Wish I could buy Kia, but will settle for a thumbs down on Honda.

Love Hondas and Acuras, car sales improving

I ride a Honda CBR. It's got to outperform the S&P 500.
Recs
same deal as Ford, dip makes good opportunity, expect long term growth as American market recovers, are adding staff at new plants and opening new ones.
Recs
It's better this way, I think.

This Japanese transportation giant shows how resilient the Japanese truly are. Honda Motor Co. is a pioneer in fuel efficient transportation (including a venture manufacturing & selling motorcycles in India), and stands to benefit from an insignificant Peak Oil theory. The stock has under performed since April of 2011 and just bounced off the ~$28 area.
Using the automated reversal indicators from this site, HMC is one of the few stocks that shows signs of a reversal on daily, weekly and monthly time-frames as shown here:

I expect Honda to underperform in the short term due to the recent floods in Thailand. Suppliers to the Honda plant in Marysville, OH have been told there all overtime is cancelled and that hours may be cut to 32 per week. Their supply chain is being disrupted just as it was with the tsunami in Japan.
Recs
Temporary setback due to natural disasters, but Honda still produces quality products and will continue to do so in the future.
Recs
Back to basics - their current products are disappointing across board on all continents. Company has lost its focus and this will show in the financials soon.
Recs
Great company at a great price - may not be perfect, but should do well enough to beat the market going forward.
Recs
We all know this will outperform.
Recs
Though this and many other Japanese automotive stocks were hurt by the recent earthquake, and will continue to have trouble for perhaps up to a year, the core structure of the companies and their products appeal to the American consumer. Honda has always made fuel-efficent vehicles, and with fuel prices as high as they are, with no drop in sight, people will continue to buy these cars.
Recs
low PEG, strong price uptrend
Recs
Honda is an incredibly known and safe company to invest in. After the earthquake in Japan the market has decreased in the short-run but in the long-run, Honda will become bigger then ever.
Recs
Supply chain may be disrupted, unemployment may be high, but this appears cheap at the moment.
Recs
rising from the ashes, better than TOYOTA
Recs
I think a lot of people left this company following the earthquake in Japan, but I think this is only a temporary problem for the company, not something holding back it's long term viability. Simply put, it was oversold.
