Strictly a value play. Currently has an entity value of ~$0.1/sh. During the last the company made ~$1/sh in free cash flow. I think that an entity value of at least ~0.5/sh is justified.

Taking into account the likely results of Health Net's restructuring initiatives and asset sales over the next year or so, HNT is currently trading somewhere around 3-4x depressed '09 EPS. This is simply to cheap both on an absolute and relative basis.

A combination of earnings growth and multiple expansion should drive outsized risk-adjusted returns over the next 2-3 years. Outperform.
