HD are motorcycles that appeal to the baby boomers and are usually bought as a luxury or post retirement item. This trend will continue as more baby boomers are retiring and their cumulative retirement income has been increased over the recent years as many are working beyond 50 and 55. Since they have an inherent need to experience everything and live life to the maximum, they will do everything in their power to live these dreams.
On the other hand, I still believe that there is a significant market correction coming and individuals highly invested in the market will be hurt. those of retirement age will have safer investments and not be affected so much. I think that HD has hit a lot and is now on the way up.

good time to get in

Harley Davidson stock has always caught my eye. It seems to be a seasonal stock. When the weather is good more people are interested in purchasing motorcycles and Harley is a status name. They just split this past January. I would like to try my hand on Purchansing at least half my funds in their stock.

My kinda stock! American Icon. 60% of 52 week high. Financially stable. In a growing market of international sales. The vietnamese and chinese love scooters. When they get richer, they'll want real motorcycles. I hope Harley keeps that in mind.
Recs
Not the brand that people need in recession times.

I ride a Honda VTX 1300C. I don't really have a need for a Harley, and I don't know anyone who does.
Recs
Who can resist the wind blowing in one's hair as they ride down the road on their HOG? No one that's ridden one can. I think that the current problem will soon be behind them. As well as the foreign market will continue to be strong.
Recs
Harley Davidson, without a doubt, makes the most impressive street bikes in the industry. The only catch is, people need money to buy custom bikes. That's why I am predicting that Harley Davidson will underperform in the coming year.
Recs
With the price of gasoline so high and the summer coming, there will be a buying spree of motorcycles. Harley has a new line-up of motorcycles that are very appealing to younger generations, I look for this to climb for some time to come.

Harely davidsons are great looking bikes & since gas is @ an all time high this is the alternative...so easy riding w/this one
Recs
summertime..people want to ride! and gas efficient transportation

Now that the 100th Anniversary bruhaha is over there has been a slow decline on new bike sales over the past few years. The used bike market is starting to flood a little and the color for the 105th Anniversary could have been picked a little better to try to boost a little excitment and interest.

Even though they maybe down at this time. This is one company that will always withstand the test of time. We own one and love it. This company is an American icon

A BAD DAY ON A MOTORCYCLE BEATS A GOOD DAY AT WORK.

HOG is a half priced stock as well and is a steal at $37 bucks. Once the housing market here in the US picks back up so will this stock.. It is way undervalued at this time. BUY it up all day long and hold it until you can cash some of it in to buy one of those street rods.... With cash..
Recs
RECESSION...what else needs to be said.
Recs
Great foriegn demand, besides typical American demand
Recs
Taken a big hit (40%+) this year and is due to recover. Stable company with good growth and strong long term outlook
Recs
Outstanding Brand Loyalty and add-on products that improve sales beyond just motorcycles will continue to lead this company upward. With increasing gas prices, motorcycles may begin to prove desireable as well. Look for long term growth from a great share price.
Recs
Once gas prices start to rise, they will have a better opportunity for a strong finish
