HP's 10% price drop because of Hurds ousting was totally unnecessary there is no 10% Mark Hurd Premium this company will continue to grow as Hurd has positioned it to.

I have to believe one man isn't worth $5 billion in market value. Hurd is a beancounter, not Steve Jobs. While this might stay depressed for a while the stock will eventually rebound.

<9 times 2011 EPS Estimates, <7 times 2011 cash flow.
What is not to like at this price?
They should bet management situation under control.

Price has taken an unjustified hit due to the CEO's problems. When the smoke clears, it'll be business as usual.

One person doesn't make the company, in particular in the short term. HP will thrive once the market settles down.

The dismise of Mark Hurd impacts HP short term, but fundamentals are steady and it has a solid business model.
HP's board should name asap a new CEO and reassure markets...

Oversold on Hurd exit - it hurts, but we're not talking about a Jobs-like cult of personality.

At $46.61, Market Cap = 108 B; P/E = 13.25; P/B = 2.51; P/E * P/B = 33.26. Start price of $31.53 (P/E*P/B = 22.5) on 7-21-2010. If I get it at $32 or better . . . it's a lifer!

They are in the smart phone, and printer market, this will be innovative. It is the next big thing to print right from your phone, and they own the original "smart phone", Palm, the first PDA...and one of the biggest printer companies in the market.
Not to mention that Palm is the only "true" competitor with the iphone.
