With Smasy, Binve, and other tops caps players on board, Hathor Exploration shot to 5 stars very quickly. Overall, the risk/reward on this one, especially in the near term seems high, but Uranium is getting some attention again in the open market and supply is limited. Nuclear power plants and reduced military escalation may have slowed in the US, but nuclear power is still a play in other countries hungry for power and not as critical of risk on a souce of power that has such a high track record. Hathor Exploration Limited is a development stage company, which means they are spending and NOT producing. How well their land in the Athabasca Basin region of Saskatchewan and Alberta plays out for Uranium and how quickly will certainly determine it's fate. It's summer drill activities are being sorted and reanalyzed and plans for the winter boring being finalized. It appears the summer drilling did not validate how extensive Hathor thought the Uranium field was based on early drillings. Earlier drillings on its 90% owned Midwest NorthEast property does show high grade ore, (some of the highest ever found), close to the surface and in an area with two under utilized processign plants, but the extent needs to be finalized, then permitting, then mining equipment set up, etc. Besides property costs, cash flow has been very low. High grade Uranium is VERY RARE and carries a premium. If they have acquried the right parcels (in close proximity to the producing properties of Cameco and AREVA, major Uranium players), then they should do well. Time, quantity, and managments ability to produce play in during this exploratory phase. The 100 Million shares/options currently issued could be diluted further, but the C$34 Million of cash on hand should hold them for awhile.

A few reasons I don't like this one.
First it is in EXTREME debt. The financial situation of this company is disastrous. It's going to be a while before it comes out profitable. Next, this stock has a terrible track record. Very erratic, consistently under-performing.
If you are looking for a similar company with a bit more investability try Mitsubishi Heavy metals ( MHVYF ). Much more stable and not debt ridden.

Hoping that binve has some good information on this company because I can't find any news about it on Google Finance. The trend over the last month appears upward, but there has been a recent pull back with the recent market weakness. This seemed like a reasonable entry point for a long-term bet upward.
