Only because they are traveling down an IT road many apparel companies have traveled without much success and has cost these companies dearly in cost for the solution versus ROI. So I look for chaos in thier operations and the expenses of trying to implement the solution killing their bottom line

Consumer spending may be down, management continues to make some changes but they are slow at making any real progress in marketing their great name. Management continues to reap more benefits than shareholders.

Holding company for men's tailored clothing and women's career clothing. Note - there's a previous pick on here talking about the housing market, presumably got this mixed up with HXM.
*Balance sheet looks sturdy.
*I like the recent moves to trim underperforming lines and move from a mid-price clientele into the high rollers. As you'd predict it hurt in the short-term and the stock paid, but should improve margins over time, and at least shows that management is trying.
*EPS estimates for the next year are 0.51 for '07, 0.64 for '08. This is probably pretty optimistic considering how badly they've whiffed on two of the last three quarters, but if they're anywhere near those numbers it should be a decent value.
*This is experimental, not a real-$$$ pick.
