Beaten down in sales, but they have managed to preserve their balance sheet (fairly cash heavy, $4 per share or 25% of share price). I still see Hurco growing faster than their peers going forward, especially once this becomes an earnings machine… More

Hurco is a cyclical company at a cyclical top. You know when the best time to buy cyclical companies is? When the P/E ratio is 100, not 8. In the two previous economic slowdowns (1990-1991, 2001-2002), Hurco's margins were crushed and its stock price… More

Beaten down in sales, but they have managed to preserve their balance sheet (fairly cash heavy, $4 per share or 25% of share price). I still see Hurco growing faster than their peers going forward, especially once this becomes an earnings machine again based on economies of scale. If you believe the manufacturing sector will return, Hurco should shine. This is in my real portfolio.
