This met a high level screen to indicate a sell and strong underperform against its peers (other tickers in its industry). My 1st version of this spreadsheet devles deep into the company's balance sheet and recent income statements, combined with other relevant price data for the company including insider/institutional holdings, short interest, debt levels, etc.
I'm testing capabilities of this 1st version of my automated, valuation spreadsheet matched with my personal criteria and see how it holds up.

Value play based on recent scandal impact and potential to recover.

Solid company that got beaten up on bad news (baby thrown out with bathwater). Now undervalued and poised to recover.

Health care play. Stock down a lot since high.

Anybody look at the debt? $320+ million. No assets, just goodwill, which has just become a liability. 3-6 months to decimal numbers.

The accounting scandals are not fun news for any investor. This company got hit by relatively mild one (nothing like Enron or Nortel one). The company reacted swiftly by firing at leas directly responsible ones. The market is extremely sensitive now to anything scetchy with pletny of choice of other undervalued companies. That is why this company was slammed by investors. If there will be no sequial to the recent development, this will be a star if there is something else, Huron could be a history.

Looking for the upswing. Pretty harsh valuation currently, unless this puts them in the red for the next 2 years.

Highly ethical company, fit to be a watch dog for any industry...that exists in the federal penitentiary system. They will audit your toilet bowl still operation, check the books on your shiv disposal racket, and even help you streamline your snitch removal program. My guess is this company makes at least 37 cigarettes a share.

Come on people- this is America! We are synonymous with "Overreacting! And we also have SHORT memories! Yes, this is no doubt a hit. The extent to which 'dirt is deep' will dictate the extent to which the company, and stock, recovers. The after hours trading is up, which is an immediate correction of the overreaction.

The good news concerning trustworthiness is that allegations are internal. The sooner and more candid the PR 'spins' this situation will dictate the nature of the recovery. Listen up- here me now and thank me later... this company WILL come back. It appears there was some 'misdirected' funds to certain persons- taking some extra cookies from the jar.

This is NOT another Enron wherein the entire books were cooked to fool investers and shareholders into believing the company is solid so some greedy bastards could egregiously rape their investors to bulk up their own wallets.

In other words the fundamentals will drive this company back up. The technicals will return. The valuation has been there. And incoming management will console and reconciliate current and future clients.

Caveat Emptor through this quarter, but don't stray too far, you might miss the swing up! If it makes it back to 20 in the next month, I'd jump back in.

Harsh market overcorrection. Huron is replacing leadership and working for full disclosure. Adjusting for "accounting errors" will not reduce stock value by 2/3, but perhaps by 10-20%.

A complete fraud. Sell!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and please prosecute.
