The Mexican housing market has huge growth potential. In the past the obstacle to buying a house had been the lack of financial tools; in the low income sector it had been difficult if not impossible to get a home credit. This has changed, and Homex as vertically integrated company is active in all venues. For instance, it offers as well finanzing plans for people living in the US for a home in its developments. Construction is not limited to building housing complexes but includes infrastructure; it builds communities including schools and medical clinics. Homex serves the low and middle income market. Recently got an award for being the Latin American company with the highest corporate governance standards.

Wide open market as far as the eye can see. The three or four most obvious risks could slow this stock down to less than insane levels, but that's about all. Price is still reasonable on forward PE basis.

Housing in Mexico is booming and accelerating at a rate that is astounding. Keep an eye on this one as well as Cemex since I think they relate to eachother in terms of housing demand and add that with INFONAVITs mission to provide affordable housing to everyone...thats gold to me.

Poor Mexico; so far from God, so close to the U.S. :-)

Mexico's own slowly growing middle class, and more and more U.S. retirees, and from other countries, too, will bring on a sustained rise in residential and other home building in this under-appreciated land.

Largest publicly traded builder of affordable homes in Mexico. Mexican government has given very high priority to this program, including financial incentives.
