Good company; good fundamentals. Going long after the drop.

Is there any reason why this isn't the best stock in the market to buy right now?

Here is a five-star stock with at least 50 all-stars picking it to outperform, and it is within 5% of its 52-week low.

Undervalued

Very well run company with an EPS of 0.70 making undervalued since intrinsic value is $8.40. A manufacturer of specialty resins and concentrates, the stock trades at a healthy earnings multiple. It has healthy profit margins and management, easily manageable debt and a history of consistent earnings. It At current price you're buying at a 15% discount which gives you a pretty good margin of safety for the stock to outperform. To reach intrinsic value at the end of the year means the stock will have gained 18% by the end of the year therefore easily beating the S&P by 8% if growth rate isnt even put into account. Seeing how high this stock has reached in the past it has so much potential to make money in these markets.

It is excluded the following industries airlines,banks/brokerages,leasing,mortgages,oil-drilling,real-estate. Secondly its PEG ratio is amazing because it is less than >0.5 making it extremely undervalued. Thirdly it is very small cap of 200 million allowing the company to grow quite quickly. Fourthly, its annual EPS growth rate is greater than 20% meaning the company actually deserves to grow its stock price by at least 20% a year annualized.

Having held this pick on CAPS for several months now it's clear that this stock was a lot more hype than substance - although the ultimate outcome has yet to be seen. The real question is why...
FB giving the nod is always a good sign (I actually only picked that fact up from other pitches). Most pitches including those on Yahoo! (if you can stomach wading through all the spam) are glowing about the excellent management and solid fundamentals. ICO's products are used pretty much across the board - good, although that does leave them open to recession and recession fears. So, as everything else "recovers" in our economy, why is it still hovering around a 52-week low?
I don't have a good answer for that one. Maybe something fishy is up, maybe the stock's just volitile. What I do know is that over its 20 year history as a public company it's shares are lower. It seems like this may just be an industry/company where sustained growth prospects are limited. If the short term growth is really on the way, I'm closing this as soon as I get to 5%. If not, I'll continue to play the waiting game. Sorry this isn't the best bull pitch in the world. :(

Dont really know why but this just looks good for some reason

Has found resistance at $7 and just moved up. Lots of upside and practically no downside on this one. Will look at putting this into my real portfolio thanks to minimum risk.

I'll be honest, five people gave positive rec's before me all have scores above 50 and let's be honest, this was a hot stock before the market took a big dive.

Excellent growth prospects at an excellent price.
