Your call - Will this stock outperform or underperform the S&P 500? Successful picks are measured in terms of whether or not you were correct and by how many percentage points.

Your time frame - A guideline for other members to see whether your thinking is short or long-term. Time frame is also used to calculate the stock rating, but is not used in the scoring of your pick.

Your pitch - Here's your chance to offer more detailed thoughts, analysis, concerns, or the rationale behind your call. The pitch is optional and may be added later.

Each time you rate a stock, CAPS updates the community intelligence for the company, which may or may not change its CAPS rating. For more information, visit the Help tab at the top of the page.

Interface has several long-term programs going that should bear fruit over the next several years. They've captured the value of a lot of the "low hanging fruit" on operational efficiency measures and now are moving on toward reducing their energy consumption and environmental footprints. In the short term these efforts tend to absorb cash, but I expect that over the next 10 years we'll see some strong payoffs.

Commerical construction and government spending remain strong. These are Interfaces' main mairkets. They are ahead of curve vs compettors in adopting recycling programs and other green initiatives - Given that resources are becoming more scarce, this may prove an edge in keeping costs down.

Lower Corporate spending will take a toll on volume in next year, but downsizing usually inolves spending on interiors too.

Interface is a really exciting company with a visionary leader. Rather than taking the "squeeze everything out of oil today" approach, they're looking toward a future where oil products will be rare or non-existent. FLOR is a fashionable, sustainable, quality product that will pave the way for the future of carpet. I've notice that Target has recently began stocking FLOR tiles, and I'm glad to see them represented in a brick and mortar store. A good buy as this price, which is discounted per the current economy. I believe it a sure thing that it'll bounce back to $20-$25 in the next year, then higher after.
