I'll quote the Fool:

"The recent approval of table games in four Ohio cities; Maryland's recent approval of a slot-machine contract; the prospects of racinos in Ohio; the upcoming choice of a racino contract in New York City; and the debate in Pennsylvania for permitting table games all offer encouragement to the industry."

Thus my outperform rating.

Think these casino / gaming stocks are priced to perfection here, and I believe the consumer is just a long way weaker than people / markets are pricing in.

Negative tangible book, just cut dividend. On the positive side margins are good indicating they have a dominant position in this market, on the negative side revenues are sliding and US gaming is due for more pain from heavy debt loads.

Things are starting to turn around for the gambling industry as people get more comfortable with the current economic situation.

This is the company that will supply the next generation of slot machines. The gaming industry was poised to migrate to a central-server machine architecture last summer, but the market meltdown prevented the capital expenditure. As the gamblers begin to come back to the casinos, the first casino with the next generation of slot machine will gain market share dominance - and reduce slot costs at the same time. IGT has the handle on the slot market.

Automated casino games will thrive as gaming locations continue to expand in the US and worldwide.

IGT HAS NO NEW THEMES JUST SAME OLD IN NEW BOX.

GAMES HAVE INHERANT HEAT PROBLEMS AND DO NOT

HAVE ANY STAYING POWER

IGT HAS NO REGARD FOR PAST CUSTOMERS PERIOD.

Wave of the future ladies and gents! Markets go up and down, but people keep doing two things in particular: drinking and gambling.

Because at this rate soon enough GDP=G and that's it and revenue needs to be raised some how, so we get the rich to play slots....only thing is the poor probably pay them more, which is a contributing reason to why they are poor so basically, the gov't looks like they redistribute wealth, build some casinos and all the welfare checks can get spent there. AWESOME!

According to what I'm reading, IGT has not had significant positive cash flow in five years. Anybody else concerned about this?

This stock has a high projected 1 year forward P/E ratio.

2010 new cycles new machines. States need new revenue. Economy will enter new era after the mort crisis is over. Its current price is a steal
