Gross margin for the last 5 years have shown a decrease.

IGT is positioned to dominate the next-gen gaming technologies. By and hold two years.

Quiet possibly oversold and like the risk/reward profile at these levels. Will have to keep an eye out to see if the management messes up a good thing or not?

I am a gamer and i love these machines

Money will loosen up and more people will head to the casinos. Additionally, Nevada's change to networked gaming will be a big (initial) success for this company.

End of fiscal will see the company meet or exceed it's promises to shareholders, thus driving the value even higher. I expect it to outperform over a longer period, also, but I've chosen the short term, as it a harder one to make and I don't see the S&P making great gains in the near term.

There will always be expansion in the gaming industry and a need for new slots. That's IGT!

P/E is getting lofty but in the cyclical gaming world slot coin in is up and poker and other table games are cooling off. This is good news for those in the business of making slot machines.

Poised to make a lot of money on the expansion of gambling in Asia.

Casinos will need to keep buying slots in a challenging area. Plus, with more horse tracks adding them, the market opens up.

From America to China and from the North Pole to the South Pole there are millions of people pulling levers, and then there are millions more who are jonzing to pull that lever.

2010 new cycles new machines. States need new revenue. Economy will enter new era after the mort crisis is over. Its current price is a steal

More juristictions opening up, especially foreign countries that need the income from slots.

IGT has a stranglehold on the casino video games industry.

It should benefit from Congress banning Internet gambling last year. IGT's machines re-create a similar experience to what you'd feel sitting in front of your own PC. Plus, more states are legalizing gambling, meaning stronger demand for IGT's products. With easier access to virtual gaming, I imagine the large swaths of people who prefer it to anteing up on a real table will flock to the casinos.

I disagree with people who say the gaming industry will be hurt by a recession. Consumer spending dropped right after the 9/11 attacks but the casinos still saw increases in revenue. The only place hurt by the attacks was Las Vegas, and that was primarily due to the rising costs and tightened security on airlines after 9/11.

Worldwide expansion, revenue growth in receipt from gaming operations paints a picture for future success.

Great long term play. Recently beaten down .... currently at an excellent buy in price of $34.21. I expect this puppy to hit $50 by this time next year.

Gaming is only growing and expanding both domestically and internationally and IGT will benefit. Think about it, the only gaming news you ever hear about is how more and more states are opening casinos and allowing gaming. Never have I read a news story about casinos closing or a state banning gaming. Gaming is a great revenue machine for states in terms of taxes. Also an excellent way to play the Chinese market without being directly invested there.

Slots are beginning to switch to a server/client model which allows for casinos to improve margins. IGT has tremendous R&D in this area and is at the forefront of this transformation.

In the past month I have added to my position several times (buying on weakness) to the point where approx 20% of my entire portfolio is in IGT.

Growth of casino industry in Asia and Middle East make me very interested in this stock.
