P/FCF 96.14 and techs worst they've been since it went public less than 3 years ago.
Imperva imploaded on an earnings warning this week, similar to GIMO and a few others. It's the time of year when companies warn before their quarterly is finalized to attempt "due diligence" and avoid lawsuits from "hiding things"...subsequently the lawsuits come anyway, especially if the markets are already in a foul mood.I like GIMO's chances better, and got nicked a little by them as the market refused to "bounce" for me at just the right time...Imperva, which also shows increasing profits at a nice clip, with the corresponding increasing S&G, so no profit on the books as they grow, was a bit more "ahead of itself". It did a better job of bottom bouncing than GIMO and I attribute that to the stronger institutional holdings that limits the weak hands that I neglected to check for on GIMO. Also Imperva indicated large orders were "deferred", not cancelled.Data Center Security is large market and growing, with high visibility from established tech companies with lots of cash on their books. Possible acquisition target is NOT an investment thesis, however, but Imperva's book value getting better aligned might make them attractive.Companies are tightening their books and deferred orders will become more common place. A company kicked hard often establishes bottom resistance or "breaks down" really hard if it doesn't hold. I don't have enough CAPS space to hold Imperva for long, so am watching this one for now for it's educational value.Short term...recommend watching QoQ growth for the next few quarters, if they can keep the rate of increase even or above S&G they may be a good investment.
This company has great management and good growth rate
