(some old school Fool advice) Even if you dont fully understand the Tech you can get a good since of the pride a company takes in its website and relate that to the pride it takes in its bussiness as a whole. Add that to its "rule breaking" Tech, growth projections and what seems like a decent CEO (need more time to get a good idea) And we have a very tempting stock to buy.

This company is reinventing optical networks with improvements in reliability, flexibility, efficiency and cost. There will be long term demand for their products as the infrastructure is updated and extended.

If today's fiber optic network were compared to the American highway system than tomorrow's fiber optic network with Infinera technology may as well be the German autobahn system. The company had a breakout quarter and is poised for huge growth in the next few years. Stay tuned....

It's about to start making profits judging by the graphs, so it's value will go up a lot once it's making real money...

As a former tele-co geek I see a great potential here. Mutiplexing is not a new application its been around for decades but this is the first I have heard with fiber! Infinera is not trying to recreate the wheel just make it better.

P/E 1.09 and close to 52 week low.

Pick by the MF guys, company looks sound and beaten down, though risky.

Growth of telecommunications is progressive and PICs that Infinera is producing are going to be on huge demand !

A Rule Breaker , that is a great bargain to-day and has enormous potential in the growing broadband video download era that is growing , and growing, and growing .... !

The stock may be stumbling, but I see nothing to indicate the business has changed.

Growth opportunity

Good management and very strong technology. The big negative is they own their own fab - which is pretty expensive to run for a smallish systems company. They need to either (a) grow big enough to support the fab or (b) partner on the technology or (c) sell the fab. I think the company will do the right thing (not that I know what the right thing is...)
