New management team within IoT and employee layoffs, these thing will likely cause a discounting effect.

Fundamentals look good, so treat as a buying opportunity!

Their main competition, AMD, is just simply not doing much to challenge the dominance. NVDA is also a decent signal for Intel.

Some people think Intel is a one trick pony and getting tired with a limited market as PC sales taper off.

In that case, they are missing something. PC sells have been drying up for almost two years now. Yet sells are solid, banking almost $9B a year. I don't like that they borrowed $8B and bought back $6B of stock this past year...while sitting on $20B, (or $7B more than they borrowed)....i.e. didn't need to borrow, though I'm sure they got favorable terms.

20% plus margins. P/B and P/S about 2.5 and 2.3 respectively.

3% dividend that is solid.

I don't see what there is not to like that pushed Intel down...although they are still considerably higher than the bottom they hit last October.

Monitor...may not rise as fast as the S&P if we start recovering, but I don't think if we do that it will last long.

Institutional ownership remains strong, P/E is below competition (<14), dividend yields good, and company outperforms the S&P most of the time.

Good company, low debt, good management, high dividend. What is not to like? The PC market might continue to shink but intel will still do other things and I think that it is already priced in.

Look at their earnings report. Ridiculous outlooks and a tax rate of 9.3% used to show a fictitious profit! A low tax rate is 15-12 but 9.3% is reckless. I have nothing good to say about INTC!

Intel's competitive advantage is its ability to outspend its competitors on R&D. As long as management does a good job allocating its R&D dollars, it will do fine.

Dominate player in the PC chip industry is just getting geared up for the mobile chip industry. Investors should reap the returns over the next 5 years as they gain market share.
