Intel has a huge moat in scale, manufacturing, and market muscle. It powers Windows MacOS and Linux yet this is just a fraction of Intel's business. Intel has tendrils across the entire semiconductor industry.

By any measure, Windows7 is a success and it will prompt a new wave of PC buying from users who had been avoiding Vista and sticking to their older XP PCs.

The PC is going to radically change in the next ten years which will force Intel to radically change with it. With a successful line of low-power "Atom" processors, Intel demonstrates forward thinking in this regard, however it is still heavily dependent on the traditional PC market.

Wonderful long-term acquire. I'll always be looking for dips.

Currently, I'm just looking for a pullback to somewhere under $18. That's when I'll change from Bear to Bull on INTC.

The release of Windows 7 will likely fuel demand for new computer purchases. Both consumers and corporations often did not upgrade to windows Vista so there is a lot of need across markets for new PCs. Mac still has failed to grab a significant portion of the market share. At some point over the next year or two there will be a large increase in computer purchases. Intel holds the majority of the CPU market share so they will benefit the most.

INTC is dominant in computer processing chips and it is currently undervalued.

A basic cyclical play that still has legs to go awhile. Consumers and Asian growth are driving current sales, but eventually corporations will have to go through a hardware upgrade cycle before their servers start crashing due to electronic failures. And then there's Windows 7, plus the fact that AMD is no longer performance competitive at any level of the market. Look for market share gains plus incremental growth at least through April/May 2010. If we manage to avoid a double dip recession in 1H 2010, it'll just keep going at least until the fed starts raising interest rates.

Look at it this way: even at the current price, you're earning a 2.7% dividend yield on a solid cyclical stock that's still on the upswing of the cycle.

This company has a strong balance sheet and little is talked about the batteries they are looking to produce. They have improved SSD drives a lot recently and I look forward to seeing what they have in store for the market when they get the new future batteries for our future cars. It should give this stock another leg to stand on... GO USA!

Major corporate upgrade cycle is just beginning and advent of netbooks and smartphones is also at a very early stage. Market leader with a dominant competitive position also stands to benefit from explosive "computerization" taking place in India/China which are together home to 1 of every 3 people in the world today.

Intel Corp currently is providing processors to both Apple and Microsoft. They are the best quality processors and they are the make the fastest computers the world has seen. I trust this company greatly and I think that they will continue to be a good source of income to investors in the future.

Even though AAPL seems to be moving away from using Intel Processors at least in their mobile devices (purchasing PA chip company), the introduction of Light Peak will be a huge integration and (seemingly) good partnership moving forward.

The world runs on computers and at this point, INTC makes the best chips and boards.

Intel continues to outperform their competition in innovation, they keep coming up with the most useful and 'cool' stuff. They make money the old fashion way, create something new and better, then sell it to the people; that model won't outdate anytime soon and they don't appear to be slowing their innovation-ing down. Their new light peak technology appears to be closer to market than I thought possible.
