Intel kept popping up on screens for dividend payers.
Somewhere in 2011, I finally got tired of Cisco fumbling earnings and going nowhere, so sold CSCO and replaced it with INTC.
Fairly simple bull case here:
Dominant market player
Still cheap on valuation
Good dividend with plenty of cash, cash flow and earnings to keep it going.
Disclosure: Long INTC

Every thing needs thier chips, market share and brand recognition. Good Dividend.

undervalued, dominant in pc industry, will make headways into mobile

this company is moving too slow. Management is not efficiently using its resources. I would call this one a dinosaur. 16$/share in 2015. Intel is to ARM what RIM is to APPLE.

Long-term depends on breaking into mobile. I think they will because of their expertise in low cost production and their advancements in small chips and 3-D chips. They now just have to work on energy minimization.
Even if they do not have major breakthroughs in smart phones or tablets they should still do well with servers, cloud and PC. PCs should still show major growth in emerging markets for a few years.
Nevertheless they are still impressively profitable in the non-mobile space.

INTC has a stranglehold on the PC/server microprocessor market. With the upcoming move to 22nm chips, and increased power needs from mobile devices, it won't be long before they are a player in that space. A great company that has increased it's dividend 4 of the last 5 years and is selling at a very reasonable P/E. A great long term play.

Healthy company, sustainable, growing dividend. I think there continues to be plenty of room for the chip market to expand.

high now with great PE & Yield combo #'s, BUT GOING HIGHER

343. Intel Corp (NASDAQ: INTC) is the place to be as mobile computing continues to take control over as the world's leading medium for business. Even though they are trading at recent highs, I think that they are cheap on a forward basis if you look out 5 years. I know, looking that far into the future is nearly impossible for analysts. Who cares about them? If the stock price goes higher, they'll raise their price targets to reflect the higher price anyway. Target: $28-$34. Outperform in CAPS too.

BEST CPU on the market and will be strong for years to come!!!

With the recent success of Apple one shouldn't overlook Intel. In recent years Intel processors have become the standard for Apple products, which wasn't the case in the past. The main competitor, AMD, hasn't been showing much recently. I believe Intel will make a slow but steady climb over the next year or so.
Recs
lowish p/e, lots of cash flow, big moat, EPS growth, consistently stays couple years ahead of competitors in fabrication processes.

Long-term dividend play.
Intel will continue to dominate and adapt to new challenges.
Driving reference designs like the Ultrabook initiative seems to have achieved traction with OEM's. x86 architecture still represents a big moat. Windows 8 will continue to drive PC hardware upgrade cycle.
One concern is their ability to create a credible low-power processor alternative to ARM for tablets and smart phones.

Intels entry into the Mobile market is going to be huge! Everyone prefers intel inside for their computer, I think it will stick for their Mobile device as well
