Over the next year or so Americans will be receiving pink slips, living in cardboard boxes, and crying into their Kleenex. What does that mean? Paper, cardboard, and more paper. Ergo, IP ! Hefty dividend, too!

Poorly run company in a mature and over-capacitied business. Need to close several losing plants and focus on just the ones that can make some money before the entire industry goes overseas.

with the acquisition of weyerhauser's recycling and packaging, as a paper company I believe it has a better chance of growing then most.

As the global economy recovers demand for paper related products will increase. IP took a hit like most companies in late 2008 / early 2009. Also like most companies they have taken steps to deal with the market situation and have started to recover but they have a plenty of room to run still.
