I wish that I'd picked this one on 3/09 but alas I'm still just learning how to use the screener properly. I like stocks where the company holds a large percentage of their own stock, With 51% insider ownership this stock smells like roses to me.

I like this company's name brands and it allows me to capitalize on a drop in consumer confidence for the coming year or so. Longer term I think the name brands will really generate some customer loyalty among shoppers. I got this idea when my girlfriend dragged me to a Sephora and I noticed it was packed with girls buying this stuff like crazy.

IPAR recently posted a 57% jump in fourth quarter profit and raised its 2008 guidance. While it was a big winner in Tuesdays run up, this stock has plenty of room to grow. A small cap fragrance maker that is relatively unknown, it has the advantage of being in an industry that booms in boom time but can handle the bullish times as well. Women, and increasingly men, will always want to smell good. Whether you have a job and a spouse, no job and no spouse, or some combination of the two, smelling good is key.

Owner / operators once again with solid cash flow and growth. Small enough company to grow with a product mix that won't deteriorate anytime soon. Women will continue to want to smell nice and this company allows them to do that while taking in some coin.
