The Bank of Ireland has something great going for it, it's a bank in Ireland! I spoke with some investors and they claimed to have seen a rainbow near the bank's headquarters. One can only guess that they have a Leprechaun guarding the bank.

Ireland’s banks (mainly Bank of Ireland and AIB) face losses of as much as 35 billion euros ($49 billion) through 2010 as the economy shrinks at an “unprecedented” pace, according to the International Monetary Fund.

Also from the IMF: Ireland's GDP to drop 14% top-to-bottom and house prices 40% in the same period.

In short, Ireland is going through one of the worst depressions for a developed country since World War II.

The price is sliding with market conditions this week. I'm completely BULLish on this because they have made good moves in the past couple of months that took off from around $3 to around $12 in just about 2 months.
