in with a cost basis $6.86... satellite growth should be on an upswing in the next few years.

5 yr net income growth of 19.5%.
I beleive the company will continue to grow revenue in the future.

Just "dipped" my toes in.
Balance sheet is good.
Settled with SEC.
New interim CEO with 40 years experience in defense industry.
Supposedly have a $77M contract pending with the Air Force.
Will wait and watch before going further. Accounting "fiasco" has left a negative aura and could hold it down for some time.
They have done well in the past, but will want to see if they now have all of their "ducks in a row" before going in deeper.
In with real money, but not a huge amount.
If they are truly now on the right path, and can focus on doing business, instead of worrying about lawsuits and SEC actions, they could turn out to be a big winner.

HT other pitches. Trading "just under book"? The rest of the market is tanking anyway. :/

These accounts contain backlogs of contracts which are not a guarantee and pose some risk to future revenues as a result. Returns on equity and net profit margin are both below the sector average. Risks include reduced government aerospace/defense spending, competition, technological obsolescence, commodities prices, patent infringement, and legal proceedings.

You'd think they'd have more debt, sounds like an expensive racket to get into, maybe I'm wrong, but I would have expected them to owe a lot or money. And you're always gonna need satilites, most likely more and more for at least a few decades.
Plus as a bouns it gets points as a possible Conspiracy Pick, the government will need more satilites to watch everyone. Maybe a little far out there, but that's why it's bonus points.

They put computers and wires and stuff into outer space. That sounds like an expensive company to me! I can't put anything into space even if I spent all of the money I had - I could probably only get something sort of high in the sky like a kite - but not into outer space, probably not even into inner-space.
I think Innerspace was a movie with Martin Short. A ship gets shrunk down really small and sent inside his body and the guy in the ship helps him solve some sort of government conspiracy - and they rock out to some songs together too. Good stuff.
With that in mind - this company is a must buy.
Innerspace + outerspace x computers / Martin Short = $$$

Fundamentals seem good, oversold.

I just rode this up 20%, and now it's right back down. Let's see if I can pull off the same trick twice...

Even though their market cap is a little lower than I would like and actually surprised given the technology, everything else looks good for long term growth and is at a nice discount.

Building satellite ground systems and equipment sounds like a sexy growth business. I am looking for tech stocks because I believe technology is the best bet for this troubled economy. Integral Systems seems to be marching through the downturn unfazed and valuation looks very cheap. Following Fransgeraedt's pick yesterday and happy to see that TenMiles still holds this.
