IXP is a great way to play telecom growth in emerging markets, while tempering the inevitable dips and peaks in such investments with established stabilizing influences (AT&T and Vodaphone). Current yield is 4.5% and expense ratio is low at $0.48%. I own the stock in my IRA, reinvesting dividends while sheltering same from taxes.

china has 1.3 billion people of which only a fraction use cell phone
for the time being. Within 3 years, that number will likely double.

Global telcoms will increase as land based (tied down) phones lose share and become niche markets... Today next gen will go IP based and mobile tech increases...

Cell phone technology has chaged dramatically since the first was introduced many years ago. Today most people rely on their cell phones and the enhanced technology they have in order to make it through a day. Almost no need for a PC,MP3, Camera, Voice Recorder, or phonebook. As time goes on this comapny will improve the standards of cell phones making them impossible to leave behind. Ask any typical mutitasker, a cell phone can be your best friend. This company will indeed succeed.

It has all my favorite stocks all in one basket ... OK I'm biased towards Telecommunication stocks. Try NOT taking your mobile with you for the next 2 days; or remember the time when you can't get a signal and you vaguely feel like you'd just lost your two front teeth. Get it?!
