Hugely speculative but not all the current players in the fibre optics marketplace are going to survive. JDSU has a very strong balance sheet and a new incoming CEO who will, hopefully, make the needed personnel cuts to get this to profitability. When the dust settles JDSU could gobble up market share from the expired former players in their market.

Yes, I was a skeptic at first, but I knew my patience would pay off. They just introduced the industry's first field solution to combine 4G and 10G Fibre Channel test support with traditional transport test capabilities (Ethernet). While everyone else is buying Polycom and Dycom (and losing I might add), I am putting my cash into JDSU.

fiber=future=now. they will def hit some bumps on the way due to the competition in their industry but will def see mid-high teens by mid-late this year.

2008 will be a good year for JDSU, taking them to profit for the 1st time in a long time. They have alot of cash on hand and as long as the US economy does not go into the toilet, they stand ready for a big year.
