McNeil just put another nail in the coffin for poor Johnson & Johnson. Now the Dept of Justice is investigating kickbacks paid to Omni Healthcare. Definite underperform for the rest of the year.

That price just seems a little high. Still, they are a major player so I might be wrong.

For large cap long term value I think this is a great stock to hold onto. It has a great history of rewarding shareholders and is trading at a relatively attractive PE of around 13 probably due to some of the uncertainties about the future of healthcare. Whatever direction that healthcare in the US goes I think the bigger picture is that they will be little affected, and realistically probably a larger percentage of their earning will be derived from other countries over the next decade anyway.
