Yikes....declining margins, declining credit available to the consumer, higher end items taking it on the chin and declining earnings. If there's anything we've learned about retail recently is that this isnt a one quarter event. Jones has plenty of downside still available here, especially after looking at those sloppy technicals. Yes its only at 1 time book, but 1 billion in debt, are you serious???? Seriously...yikes....

With the economic stimulus plan giving families back more money you can expect an increase in consumer goods purchases which will help the retail sector.

Another low price outlet conglomerate. Offers style on a budget. Their line L.E.I. just recently added to the lineup at WalMart. Hopefully we'll see an increase in this low-price ticket over the holidays.

Geez, I don't know how CAPS puts in these start prices. When I made this pick, JNY was trading at $6.08 per share (12/3/08). Somehow when the pick got registered, it assigned me a start price of $5.90. Sucks to be me I guess...

Seems to be a pretty well run company.....street thinks good of it also. At this price....risk, but a good buy

This company does a variety of clothing lines, making it attractive to more than one group. I've watched it like a yo yo, up and down...but cheap and sell high....or maybe take some dividends. We will see, as my ownership of this stock depends on the market. Lately, I've just taken my dollar or two. But if we get some stability, this stock will remain in my portfolio.
