4 Kids Entertainment looks like it may be working it's way, slowly but surely, back to profitability. In the meantime, they will continue to wallow in negative earnings.

Chaotic(R) is gaining momentum. But it won't be enough to outperform until late summer.

Does anyone remember POKEMON? Same guys repeating the same success only bigger with Chaotic(R).

Around the summer of 98 4Kids took me from the Outhouse to the Penthouse. I watched as $7 per share hit the $20's and beyond.

They are going to do it again. Only on a much bigger scale. I'd like it to be lower than 10 but I'll take it.

Whats to like here? Down market... no long term prospects... overpriced ... and the vultures are circling already. I don't like the looks of this at all.

Scooping up 4Kids at a 52-week low is too tempting to resist. The company has $8 a share in cash, and while everyone is worried about the Pokemon/Yu-Gi-Oh licensing drying up or the lackluster response to the TMNT revival, Chaotic is coming around. It's like Pokemon meets Webkinz, and 4Kids actually has a stake in this project for a change. TV show + online affinity site = a big gamble, but also a big opportunity at these prices.

Tangible licence value in cabbage patch kids, ninja turtles that is worth a good portion of the current EV of 100 mil. Huge potential with the Chaotic trading cards!

Owns the rights to a bunch of washed up characters. Losing money on decreasing revenues. P/E is now astronomical, with no growth on the horizon.

4Kids Entertainment Inc is a diversified media and entertainment company primarily focusing on youth segment. Operations include licensing of merchandise rights of popular children’s television series, advertising media and broadcast, television and film production and distribution. Licensees of company’s properties are manufacturers of toys, electronic games, gaming cards and apparels. Properties include Cabbage Patch Kids, Chaotic, The American Kennel Club and various others.

The company has been licensing Turtles movie merchandising rights for the upcoming big budget Computer Generated Imagery movie, which is to be released in March 2007. The company anticipates improved sales from the total merchandise as the release date for the movie gets closer. In November 2006, the company has signed a multi year licensing agreement with American Greetings Corporation to develop a line of social expression for its animated comedy series Viva Pinata. The products will be launched in 2007.

4Kids has launched two subsidiaries, TC Digital Games, a trading card company and TC Websites, an online multi-platform game company. 4Kids Entertainment is going to directly produce trading cards for the first time, to be sold at retail. Chaotic trading card’s game will be launched in mid of 2007, which integrates traditional trading card game play with unique online game elements.

By owning and operating its own trading card and online game operations, 4Kids will now have greater control over the creativity, marketing and distribution elements for Chaotic and an opportunity to capture substantial revenues and margins. Based on the above facts, the shares of 4Kids Entertainment offers a good investment opportunity for long term investors
