Stock will lag the S&P as long as their hostile takeover bid remains unresolved.

Currently undervalued due to the Cadbury takeover. Decent dividend at around 4.5%.

Just getting back into the Markets.

KFT just strikes me as a winner right now. Good (safe?) yield, decent P/E situation, true blue-chip company, plus it just got its butt kicked. So I bought a small piece at $26.67 right at close.

If it dips down another 10+% to about $24, I'll probably increase my position.

Kft provides a large, stable dividend, international exposure, and room to grow.

The balance sheet is stronger than General Mills.

Kraft is a solid company with a solid dividend and should break $30 within a year.

Steady growth in margns and earnings will bring price upward, as well. Cadbury's issue remains unresolved and could be a deterrent or delay to bringing above plan to fruition - bears watching closely.

Note to self:
Due to its lower return on equity and high leverage, I think at best this one will slightly outperform the market and yield small of between -5 and +10.

It will underperform GIS and CAG

Kraft food incorporation will always be needed as long as people are around because us as people love to eat.It was going good before the crash but after it stores wanted to raise the prices on food to help the economy grow stronger and people aren't wanting to but it because of the price increase. After the economy grows stronger and the process decrease people will go back to buying it and this stock will continue to rise.

American staple embedded in the national consciousness. Products will be in high demand with the poor economy and will do well even after the recovery.

Great brand name. Solid history. Very well diversified among several household names. I expect Kraft will return it's dividend to it's previous level sometime in the next 12 months, after which the stock should appreciate, especially amoung dividend/value investors.
