My best choice in the Gold Mining play

well managed or lucky gold stock

I have been watching this gold company inch up slightly every day for some time now. They keep making aquisitions too.

Company has buying up some other mining companies making it now one of the biggest and they are starting to make money with gold and silver prices being up and looking like they are going to keep going higher which will increase profits even more

Launched a bid for Bema Gold; stock market didn't like the move and shares fell; The acquisition isn't all negative; Kinross is picking up significant reserves - an increase in gold reserves of almost 70%

Kinross has underperformed it's peers due to its recent acquisition of Bema .... It will begin to pick up the pace when the deal closes .... Not as risky as some of the smaller names but will do well when Gold hits $1000/oz.

Started wave 3, should see a new high soon.

The acquisition of Bema Gold makes Kinross an even bigger industry player. I see solid growth potential and very little risk.

Precious metal prices continue to rise, and this company is a player in gold.

Kinross Gold announced earlier this month that it will acquire Bema Gold (BGO) in an all-stock deal. Bema was my favorite mid-cap Canadian gold producer, and KGC is now my favorite looking forward, as it in turn becomes a very attractive M&A target once gold passes $700 early next year. :)

Good long-term move to buy BGO, naturally falls on news so smart money should be buying now.

Heading into economic slowdown, with inflation, gold will bounce back and small companies will be acquired.

Kinross is a mid-range Canadian gold miner. Since I think gold is going much higher, KGC will benefit, and I also think the company is a good takeover prospect.
