This stock is attractive for several reasons:
1. Richard Kinder is an entreprenial manager
2. It has attractive tax benefits
3. It's price is not tied to the price of oil
4. In the near term, demand for oil will probably increase moderatly
5. The demand for natural gas will probably increase
6. KMP has the new pipeline coming on line with a good percentage of the revenue lock in.

This company owns infrastructure in a meaningful way for natural gas which is not likely to go away. The price is at a premium so there is some risk. I am counting on an eventual recovery of the ecomomy so the excellent dividend history makes it worth the risk.

This company is paid to move and store oil and natural gas. As long as their is demand for both products, you can expect steady earnings from this company. They are pretty much insulated from the volatile commodities they transport with their pipelines. New natural gas shale deposits will require new pipelines to get that product to the market, and that is exactly what KMP has alreayd begun to do. Jim Cramer has blessed off on this stock and I agree with him. Nice 8% dividend at current share price.

A small MLP owning natgas and oil producing assets. Energy costs will go up as the economic recovery proceeds and by the time their hedges expire I expect the market prices to be much more favorable.

Best Natural gas play is the pipeline. They always get paid and their dividends are solid (and healthy). Excellent yield.
