Web based delivery of movies will become the standard. Lions Gate is in early with a reasonable stable of films suitable to the demographic that will be at the vanguard of purchasing the products. LGF will see strong revenues over the next 1-2 years as they take advantage of this movement. Long-term outlook is highly dependent on how they choose to invest in their future growth. They are unlikely to be able to hold a dominant position in the internet video arena for long even with their deal with Apple.

A lot of bad movies doesn't make a good movie production business. Lions Gate is all over the place with new movies. I'd expect to see a decline in value very soon if they don't clean up their act and focus on quality over quantity.

LGF is expanding there library both organically and though acquisitions. They have develop a great track record of having 1-2 blockbusters a year while keeping huge box office bombs to a minimum with there low cost independent film approach . There library is there floor in the stock and if theatrical sales continue to rise they can have a very tall ceiling.

combination of resourses and risk taking in feature film market should jib nicely with new movie delivery realities (iTV, etc.)

Huge library, puts out movies cheaply, scores winners like SAW, Hostel, and Crash.

LGF is great for the long term, but their weak Spring means their earnings aren't going to light up the sky until at least the January quarter, when they'll be able to book the money from an expected Saw III Halloween hit.
