I am going to go ahead and call this one an outperform forever stock.

There is obviously some upper limit here to the main product protecting cars, but since there are an infinite array of things that people need protect, there's no need for growth ever to stop.

Maybe I'm crazy, but I'm going to go against the grain on this one. I thought it was a terrific idea when it first came out, and I even registered to be a dealer, but now, you don't see any more advertising, and with GPS, cell phones, BlueTooth, and "On-Star" being built into cars, I have a feeling...More

It's a well established brand, and apparently has proprietary technology with a monopoly in what they do. We know car sales are down big time and they will probably be down for another 1 or 2 years. But when earnings recover, the comparison will look so favorable, that many enthusiastic investors who refuse to pay 12 times reduced earnings today, will happily pay 25-30 times peaked out earnings. Let's say it manages to reach peak earnings of 2005 ($0.96) in 2010 or 2011. To adjust for inflation, we come up with $1.11 per share then. Now, consider $1.11 growth against today's $0.56. That's like a 25-35% annual growth in earnings. Any naive investor at that time will willingly pay $25 for this stock. Yet it is those "do it all" devices that often are not functioning when you really need it. It is unlikely that your cell phone and GPS will be on, and sending out triangulation signals when your car is stolen... much less that someone will put the pieces together from what little there is of that data to find your car. The "specific purpose" electronic device is the one that will continue to doggedly shine at its intended purpose.
