P/S <1 and momentum, forward p/e and EV/EBITDA look good. Apple isn't going anywhere either.

Great TVs, and a wealth of other products. If they can get a good deal with Universal Display and drive costs down lower, they may be in position to grow.

I'm not super excited about this company, but something's telling me LG is going to do well. Revenue has been consistently growing at a solid rate (although earnings have not). They are vastly more efficient than the rest of the industry in most ways (although the margins are lagging behind). They've been investing a great deal in expansion of facilities (although that could be a bad idea if demand continues to fall). Honestly, though, I think LG is ready to move. Right now it seems to be trading low on expectations that earnings will completely reverse the 15% growth from last year and go negative. Why? What horrible thing has happened? I don't think it's the earthquake because they're based in Korea. Could demand for flat-panels really have dropped that much? Sure, I can see TV sales troubles (like they said), but across the board? Remember, this is the second largest (and in a tight race with Samsung for largest: they combine to produce 50% of all flat-panels) producer of flat-panels in the world. I'm not seeing a coming catastrophe.

(And from the looks of it, investors are starting to realize this too. Hopefully I didn't get in too late on the upswing...)

LG is an incredibly innovative company that delivers on what consumers are looking for. Phones - look at LG, monitors - LG, TV - LG. Anything with a display look to LG.

LG products are extremely user friendly and deliver on the content for something that you would pay 2-5 times as much for.
If you are looking for versatility, affordability and functionality look for LG products. It's a brand you can stand by.

Really go to Best Buy, Wall Mart, Fry's and compare the price and functionality of similar items. LG will typically be a best match.

They are a company that is making product for you and the future. I'm in the long run.

Supplying the display for the Apple iPad. The Apple groupies should love the price announcement for the iPad since it is lower than was widely speculated. It will help them embrace the new technology even though it is quite limiting compared to a laptop. The more iPad that get bought, the more LPL goes up. Lets hope this partnership continues for a log time.

In a sluggish economy, sales of "luxury non-essentials" like flat panel televisions are sure to be down. That said, when the economy turns around we'll look back at this stock at $14 and think "I shoulda..." LG has creative marketing that backs up quality products. A good combination.
