Liberty Property Trust (LRY)

CAPS Rating:
**

A self-administered and self-managed Maryland real estate investment trust provides leasing, property management, development, acquisition, and other tenant-related services for a portfolio of industrial and office properties.

Rating a stock in CAPS consists of three components:

Your call - Will this stock outperform or underperform the S&P 500? Successful picks are measured in terms of whether or not you were correct and by how many percentage points.

Your time frame - A guideline for other members to see whether your thinking is short or long-term. Time frame is also used to calculate the stock rating, but is not used in the scoring of your pick.

Your pitch - Here's your chance to offer more detailed thoughts, analysis, concerns, or the rationale behind your call. The pitch is optional and may be added later.

Each time you rate a stock, CAPS updates the community intelligence for the company, which may or may not change its CAPS rating. For more information, visit the Help tab at the top of the page.

Good diversification and RE play. Business is as Int'l industrial REIT.

Solid performer, good dividend. Incurred debt with Republic acquisition but will provide growth in long run.

Commercial real estate demise the next few years relative to "market". The assumptions used for cash flow on properties will become increasiongly ridiculous as the veil is lifted showing us all how much wealth (either disposable income or ability to borrow or combination of the two) has been sucked out of the average worker and small businesses (that employ most of us americans who are increasingly jobless). why pay office rent when business is dry?

The demand is growing for "Green" buildings and with this company owning several of these types of buildings, they will continue to grow. Companies now are looking for "Green" buildings because they feel it attracts employees and also is a cost savings by reducing energy cost. This company also pays out a very good dividend each quarter. This is a good stock to have while the market continues to sort itself out.
