A great company to hold until at least after Xmas

Fantastic portfolios of brands and a good valuation. Now if I could only get credit for the dividend I'd be all set.

very popular brand with good earnings.
enough assets to cover the debt. good price. dividends. great stock to own.

Cheap here, pays a nice yield, good long-term investment, who doesn't like Victoria's Secret?
Recs
Victoria Sectret is dominant. No store comes close to controlling and selling underwaer to women. They have an incredibile moat. I addition, I do not think they have to keep the inventory as fresh as other mall retailers. Its is underwear, and women will buy what is comfortable along with the occasional "this makes me sexy" purchase. LTD will need to do something with it in order to unleash its true value and get it away from the other laggard brands. This should happen within the next few months..
Recs
this retailer is getting pounded today (down 7.4%), yet is growing, has good >30% ROE, little debt, a dividend to boot.
Recs
Any way I figure it, this is a $15-$20 stock in a very competitive sector. Sell.
Recs
I like the expansion of LTD on their growth lines (VS, Pink, Bigelow, BBW) as opposed to their bread & butter Limited / Express stuff. Comps are good, good brand image, and improving product line. Can't beat the angels either.

Good looking ladies sell underwear I don't know what the valuation of this one is but hey every so often you have to just go with it.

Ever hear of Victoria's Secret? I thought so.

Victoria's Secret for the holidays!
Recs
At or near high. I believe apparel is going to be strong for holiday season. There's a lot of old clothes in America's closets.
Recs
Only problem with this retailer is poor topline sales. Top management has commissioned an independent marketing group to go into every business unit, stomp all over the unit's marketing team, and implement a new marketing strategy from the top down. Has already successfully revitalized leading brands and increased top line sales -- which have in turn hit bottom line. Don't see this stopping. Don't see the risk of lower consumer confidence making too big an impact -- at least not in any permanent way.
