Cafeteria -style dining is out of favor. Too much competition and escalating food costs will keep this stock down. Luby's has already announced a reduction in capex for this year. There isn't much of an upside.

Mainly, I like what I see on the balance sheet. Long term debt is gone. Liabilities are stable, revenue is slowly but steadily increasing. Niche market - could expect some modest returns over the next few years. Worth taking a closer look at, keeping an eye on, or at least put it in your watch list.

Producing strong, increasing cash flow. $18.65 million in cash with no debt.

Luby's has an interesting concept in what seems like a sustainable niche. With the business producing strong cash flow, the balance in good shape, and a good foundation to go along with a P/E of 15.8, I see some long-term outperformance from here on out.
