Master Card near $300, wow. It has been fun. Time to sell. And here's why. They don't make money with more money (stocks bought), they make money with people's buying with their MA. I think they are overvalued because of their EPS. I was right with AAPL... And they dropped to $150 from $200. We always WANT our stocks to go up, but forget about downs, don't be greedy and cash out, wait for the dip and buy again.

MasterCard (MA) is a sure bet. They have been growing steadily and sure fast upward. Staying out of the lending business has help keep them in the black where many others in the financial sector have suffered huge losses. MA along with Visa (V) is two securities that should highlight your portfolio and make you money

MasterCard's IPO has been amazing and it has only gotten better since Visa's IPO. Both companies make their money even during a downturn in the economy due to the fees they collect and MasterCard is still a good value even at current prices.

This stock is up over 100% in the last year and growth seems to be continuing at least for now. i expect this company to cool a bit as consumer spending slows then picks up for the last quarter. Stock will hit $300.00 before a pull back in third quarter.

We are seeing the birth of a new curency. It's been a while that people have talked about a global currency, and with the major brands of credit cards that has happened. These companies are lean,( because banks do all the heavy lifting) and have branding down to an art. Look for them to do very strong as pillars of the global economy over the next 5-10 years.

Recs
what can I say it just keeps going up
Recs
Master Card - Technology will move us from our current currency paper to digital electronic funds transfers, and a paperless money supply. Both Master Card & Visa will be instrumental in this move.
Recs
Mastercard was not phased by the Viso IPO. Soon people will notice that MA is the correct stock to be in to take advantage of consumer spending. As the internet continues to become a way of life, all spending will need to be done through credit cards. Once tax rebates are returned, consumer spending will increase a little bit, and as gas prices rise, people will still need to continue to buy gasoline. MA is the stock that will continue to grow.
