McDonald's is in the food industry and the food industry generally remains cushioned from the effects of the markets.

This can be seen from its modest drop in stock value vs the S & P 500's sharp drop in the recent months.

McDonald's is available worldwide and it's tasty and relatively cheap prices remains a favorite for many.

When the global markets pick up, McDonald's should be brought up along.

One should not expect a jump up sky high too as likewise positive effects are usually cushioned too.

A rather stable stock in my opinion.
