What's not to love about land in Maui...

I have been trading Maui Land for over a year now for short gains, with the recent decision to gain profit by selling several million dollar condos by the Ritz Carlton, which MLP owns a large percentage of, I see MLP growing even further. Was a very nice buy at $25 two weeks ago.

I think there is great value hidden in this company. They accumulated a bunch of land when they were primarily in the Pineapple growing business. They are moving out of the pineapple business.
Their last annual report reflects they own 21,900 acres in Northwest Maui, including property along the ocean.
The last couple of years have been hard on Hawaii. There may still be some lean years ahead. Patience will be rewarded (handsomely, I think).

This is a stock that just can't seem to garner much attention in the market. Once it gains a footing, it should continue a slow upward trek. It could easily double in value in coming years.

Owns massive and expensive tracts of land on Maui, and is working on unlocking that value through commercial development. Value play to the max.

A very experienced company with interesting operations. The financials aren't great, but I think we will see them outperform the S&P over the long run. I think they are a little bit undervalued right now, definitely one to keep an eye on.
