MLP appears to be headed towards bankruptcy. Their auditors have warned investors about the possibility they will not survive. They were crippled by the credit crunch and recession and forced to sell off some of their profitable assets. Now there is very little chance they will be able to avoid default on their large liabilities.

What's not to love about land in Maui...

I have been trading Maui Land for over a year now for short gains, with the recent decision to gain profit by selling several million dollar condos by the Ritz Carlton, which MLP owns a large percentage of, I see MLP growing even further. Was a very nice buy at $25 two weeks ago.

This is a stock that just can't seem to garner much attention in the market. Once it gains a footing, it should continue a slow upward trek. It could easily double in value in coming years.

A very experienced company with interesting operations. The financials aren't great, but I think we will see them outperform the S&P over the long run. I think they are a little bit undervalued right now, definitely one to keep an eye on.
