Calling a bottom. Cutting back production should help prices too.

Making a fertilizer basket of stocks for a long term play on nutrient depletion in farmland (as Jared Diamond predicted in "Collapse"). They are decently valued with single digit P/Es and have adequate interest coverage. Risks are that war/depression reduce population growth, or cheap inputs (e.g. natural gas) create an excess of supply.

just bought some of this in real money. it seems to be the best of the four major fertilizer companies, all of which seem to be relatively good investments.

I believe that, given enough time, this company will prosper, and I suggest holding the stock for quiet awhile, but in the end it CERTAINLY be a good investment.

Regardless of the economic landscape. people need to eat and farmers need fertilizers to grow crops. Cheap, strong: definite excellent long-term investment.

Absolutely undervalued; long-term bullish pick. This is a good alternative 'safe haven' investment. People will still need to eat and farmers need to use fertilizers to grow crops. The big picture demographics are still pointing towards population growth around the world, so I am ultra-long this company (5-10 yrs), given its valuable assets, efficient/effective operations management, and knowledgeable/experienced executives.

MOS is currently oversold. The fundamentals of the business are sold and people are going to eat.

The company is acting in the same industry as potash and is also generating billions of profits. It seems as if the industry is soaring up and having great people working in a future industry. More food is needed, therefore more animals are needed, therefore more potash is needed.

They make animal feed, and produce potash for use as fertilizers. I'm giving this company and Archer Daniels, a big bullish outlook, because I believe there is a shortage of food around the world, and big companies like these, need to innovate to produce more agriculture products for humans to survive.

Fertilizer is king to provide food. The world population is at a maximum without more food and water. Look how many are starving and that the first world countries will provide the food that is needed.

It will be great in the early spring, when they need fertilizer.
