People like to eat. Fertilizer makes this possible. MOS is making money faster than Biggie Smalls was in his prime. Even if you cut all the forecasts in half for next year, MOS will still show triple digit percent profit increases. It is at least a $60 stock. The brains on wallstreet used to think it was a $163 stock. Let's assume they are not completely useless and call it a $100 stock.

What a bargain this stock is right now. I am going to add this to my portfolio along with POT, IPI, and MON. We should start to see all of these turnaround pretty quickly. They are all just too cheap right now.

Fertilizer is a staple to any farmer's inventory and no matter how we see the farmer's business model, he will continue to grow crops to feed all of us at whatever price the market will bear. I see food prices contracting temporarily and then increasing with the next round of drought or flooding or whatever calamity comes along. I haven't seen any population projections recently, but I believe it's relatively safe to say the world will have many more mouths to feed tomorrow..literally...tomorrow. Furthermore, with all the advances in medicine and our longevity increasing significantly...well do the math...fertilizer is an absolute must and Mosaic will ultimately rebound to a much higher price just based on what is currently in store for the human race. Gotta have food; gotta have fertilizer to grow it.

Been watching, watching, watching. I think now is a good time to get a first position. The world is going to need food. period. The asian growth is getting hungry for protein diets and they need better fed animals. period. Today, tomorrow, in 10 years. Food and Water, man. Energy dont mean squat if you cant eat. Phosphates, Nitrogen and Potassium(potash) - everything's gotta have it.

I like Mosaic over Potash because they have better net income in relation to sales, over 10% better ROE. lower debt/equity yet stock price beaten down harder. I might go pick Potash and TNH anyway. There is just no getting around these companies over the next 5 years.

Very silly cheap, good company with tons of cash and
recession-proof (the world will eat...)
Once the markets calm down, and they will eventually, this stock will do extremely well.

Rising earnings will not go away. With China and India middle class populations having more money to spend on food demand for fertilizer will increase. Very undervalued.

Food is the last thing to be cut! People need to eat! And farmers will not plant without fertilizer, as fertilizers can increase a yield by around 30%, at a very marginal cost to the farmer. Also, Mosaic is expected to make about $10 this year. At a stock price of $34??? Insane!

Everyone needs to eat. Even in a world depression. If the fundamentals and chart is not blemished Mos is a glittering value at today's $36 price.
