Short-term play on Android.

The Droid has put Motorola back on the phone map. Though they won't be the only providers of Android-based phones, the "Android/Droid" brand is becoming so confused that most don't know the difference. Droid model phones will sell because people will think that's the "real" Android phone. It will take many years for another company to break into the Android market with this kind of visibility.

Droid speculation will keep this stock afloat, other than that, it won't last long. Nice phone though motorola, closer than any other device to beat out the iphone.

The Droid from Verizon combines all of the non-annoying and non-proprietary features of the iPhone with the largest carrier in America. I think I may have missed the initial upswing, but as people figure out that it really is better than iPhone, the stock has longer-term potential.

The new Droid phone blew that Iphone away, if you have one eye, one hand and one brain cell, you will see, feel the difference.

Droid is going to cut into Apples market share thanks to a strong alliance with google and verizon

droid is a great phone which will be recognized in the near future. It has the best of the iphone with more - like the slide out querty keyboard. Apple has a solid base though through itunes, but even so after the iphone 3gs, the next best competitor and will definately make motorola some big bux.

The I-Phone will bring good earnings for this company. Good company to go long on.

I think they will rise to the occasion with the relase of Android phones, especially with the Verizon partnership

First true iPhone competitor on a superior Verizon network... Motorola about to bust the monopoly. My main concern is whether VZ will allow MOT to have any substantial profit margin on the droid!

With a new phone that may be a contender to a i phone.and the fact that they are entering it into a rather larger market.I think that will be alot of upsadee side soon and im planing to try a new andriod (andy) phone since i all ready have vz. stock and i have them as my carrier.I wonder how many people that may be in my boat.
