MPEL has experienced a few bumps in the road to success; however, the company is sitting on a gold mine. Notwithstanding, it is going to take a few improvements in execution and transparency to realize the potential in this one. However, with revenue increasing about 900% over the prior year, it is clear that management is doing something right, especially considering the fact that the primary property was open less than three weeks of the quarter. Noteworthy is management's excitement and confidence in the Crown as well as the current project City of Dreams. MPEL has the potential to be a 3-4 bagger by the beginning of 2009.

Melco's high roller Crown Macau casino is ready to come on-line. Expect revenues to skyrocket. I am concerned about the "City Of Dreams" project. These guys have a track record of delays and going over budget. Heck though, underwater casino- how cool is that? Short-term expect the herd to pile into China leading up to Beijing2008. Then consider pulling out for a trade.

Bought this at $11.65 today. Couldn't resist. Too much potential, profits will come, WYNN and others just reported blow-away profits even after people have doubted their Macau business. Might fall near $10 in short-term if quarter is not good this Friday, but will blow away into '08 and beyond.

You would have to be a FOOL to fail in the casino business...especially in uncharted territory.

Macau pulls in more money than Las Vegas, the Ho family controls the Island, do you think he's going to let his son make a fool of himself and and the Ho Dynasty.

The Chinese love to gamble and the Middle Class is growing unlike our own, so this is a home run within at most a couple of years, but at this price I see it double before the year's out.

When i was there last in 2002, it was difficult to even get a space at the table to play.

The casino industry in Macau is booming and has already overtaken Las Vegas. With the Chinese economy booming, the money will continue to flow to Macau. The concept casino and hotel project MPEL has sounds interesting and should generate a lot of buzz once it is completed.

Its hard to see this stock going much lower. It's down nearly 42% for the year. Play the rebound.

with the gaming industry starting to boom in Macau and the recent opening of the new casino by Melco Industries, it looks like a very good market to get into.

great family history in the business, love the location and the service for the culture... good buy long term, but if you want to maximize your money wait a bit... yesterday's financials were underwhelming and the casino not being ready to service their high end customers will mean pps drop for a company with such a short history (the market has only had 7 months upon which to judge MPEL)... look for this to dip into the 13s for the short term and very possibly lower... short MPEL through May and buy long in late June/July when the high-emd tables are ready (what news could come out between now and then to move this stock upward?)
