All negatives appear to be priced into the stock. Market for Macau casino stocks looking quite sour recently, but given the expectation of MAJOR revenues and profits from VIP operations at the Crown Macau, I expect MPEL to recover nicely. If you have the patience and tenacity to wait 3-4 years, the unquestionable success of the Crown and the City of Dreams will bring this stock to the $20++ range. Bottom feeders unite. This is the time to buy MPEL.

its a money machine with more casinos coming in the future especially with the Olympics coming $$$$

These guys are one of a select few with the rights to open casinos in Macau. That is essentially a license to print money. They have been hit recently with rumors of cost overruns and delays, but once they get their second and third casinos up and running, their doubters will be having second thoughts.

Just take this excerpt from a panel about asian americans and consider this on a global level where the country's base population is asian...
"Studies have indicated that Asians gamble more frequently than other racial groups in the U.S., making up 10% of the nation's gamblers while constituting only 4% of the total population. Not only is gambling a widespread phenomenon among Asian Americans, this leisure activity has become a serious social and economic problem in many. A study conducted in Connecticut of South East Asian Refugees indicated that 59% have a lifelong pathological addiction to gambling, and 60% of South East Asians who sought help from community service providers fall into this area as well. Although no known study has been conducted on gambling problems among Asians in NYC, anecdotal data from mental health practitioners indicated that it is a widespread and growing phenomenon. The proximity of casinos is an especially a big draw to Asians in the Tri-State Area."

Huge potential of the growth in Asia gaming industry.

Opening up casinos in Macau, and potentially getting a deal with Harrah's to run their gambling business. It has already seen some big jumps, but as more of their properties open they should continue to see excellent returns.

A little text from finance.yahoo before we get to the serious stuff

CEO is Lawrence Ho, the son os Stanley Ho, and Stanley Ho is the guy who makes the money. I bet he has taught a couple of tricks to his son and maybe even gives him some piece of good advice regarding MPEL. But they, But neither of Einstein's 6 sons got any Nobel prize, so, don't take my word for it.
Insider Ownership - 41.39% ... not bad, even if that is mostly by the parent company instead of "real people".
Now to the hard numbers... MPEL doesnt have almost any profits, of course, it has the projects under development, so we can't look at P/E's or ROIC. But what we can do is to look at the price book and compare it with companies of the same industry.
So, in this particular value approach, I decided to compare MPEL with a company which is already profitable in Macao, and that is WYNN
Price/Book (mrq): 8.94
And for MPEL:
Price/Book (mrq): 3.08
Between both of them, I would then take MPEL. But how about if WYNN is a loser too ? It isnt, check my WYNN pitch.
I saw, outperform man

Talk about a MOAT! Booming economy where the rich keep getting richer and where do they spend it??? only one place for thrill-seeking risk-takers to take their capitalist risk-seeking behavior to the next level...
It is a recession proof investment with leveraged upside. I'm allready up 50% this month. Why are people waiting for this one???

Macau is exploding and these guys are insiders. They will make it happen as well or better than LVS and WYNN, because they are the locals.
