Too much intrinsic value and bad news priced in at $2.60 today. STRONG BUY, worth sitting on even if the Luminent spinoff does not happen until Summer 08. Stock will easily double at that point based on fundamental value and sales.

Tech Speculation. MRVC dominates the market with what it makes, I have alos heard through the tech vine, that the next version (Internet 2) will be fiberbased, speeds up to 12 gigs (maybe a little less) not to mention that is the next powerplay for telecom. Currunt cycle I would say would be sometime next year. (Based cycle every two years with a major change).

There are 3 components to this stock and the stand out is Luminent. If they ever split this company, Luminent will take off like a bat out of hell. When they announce the split, MRVC should jump. Prvt equity may even scoop it up just to get Luminent, its that good.
