Dominant player in its field. Although skiing and snowboarding are not cheap activities, there is the uber rich, from here in the US as well as abroad, who will not be as sensitive to the macro-economic trends, who will continue their frolic in the snow. Vail, Resorts offer a broad range of ski slopes for tourist and skiiers/boiarders of all sorts. The other lifestyle elements: restaurants, shopping, spa familities are varied and dependable.

Although near altime high, P/E is in the low range for MTN. Long term, land assets should be very valuable.
