The company main revenue is from employment drug screening and even in the worst employment situation in decades the company still grew buy adding customers. Their current clients were down almost 20% when the hiring comes back there will be an instant boost in revenue without adding any new business just buy current clients returning to normal volumes.

It has carved out a real nice niche in growth area... is preferred by larger concerns in an arena where being kleenex or xerox goes a long way.

The past few weeks have fairly well indicated that mtox has hit the bottom and is now climbing from a bumpy 'cup'; the handle needs a bit more time, but for contrarions, I'd say it was a good bet. MTOX is in a terrific market. The risk factor here is the quality of management, but given the strength of this sector in the next several years, I'd bet there's a good margin for error without foiling the mission.

Good entry point

Medtox has been beaten down over the last month about 40%. The financials appear solid, earnings growth is very respectable, and I believe that with a couple more quarters of solid earning growth the stock should begin to pull back nicely.

It is not a time to buy in again yet. I would wait until the market in general has stabilized and a solid base has developed with some upwards momenteum.

Medtox Scientific is a good play on the medical devices side with signficant upside. As the need for workplace testing becomes more sophisticated, advanced devices will be needed for more accurate testing.
